What We Do

Adopt-A-Block is the program whereby we help people by providing free labor for things needed around the home.

While our primary help goes to the elderly, the disabled, the widowed and single parent homes, the services of Adopt-A-Block is here to help people any way we can.

Over the past few years, our volunteers have painted, raked, shoveled, trimmed bushes, cut down trees, cleaned gutters, mowed grass, planted flowers, cleaned house, grocery shopped, delivered gifts, made crafts, sand Christmas carols, moved furniture, delivered food and medicine, provided bedding, clothing, cleaned up the city streets, helped in our city housing projects, and many other countless projects.

Who Qualifies

While Adopt-A-Block's primary focus is to help those in the Seacoast area who are widowed, disabled, elderly, or the single parent. But we do help others who are in need and those who are unable to be employed.

We exist to serve our fellow man and to help those who cannot help themselves. We do not question those we help about their finances nor do we charge for our help!
